Our Story
It all begins with an idea. In 2016 Søren Damgaard decided to create the best tasting apple cider in Denmark. Three years later Copenhagen Winery was awarded with two gold medals and the prestigious title: “Best Fruit Wine 2019”
Today Copenhagen Winery is an innovative winery, producing alcoholic beverages with a taste of what Danish nature has to offer.
The range of products include sparkling apple wines, ciders, gin, apple brandy, sweet wines and wines made from fresh flowers, all inspired by the surrounding nature of Copenhagen.
The products are sold to some of the best restaurants, cocktail bars and cafes in Copenhagen.
Natural Flavors
Our wines are full of depth and complexity as we only use local botanicals found in the nature surrounding our farm. From wild apples to black currant and juniper, we create a unique taste profile. The secret’s in our approach, adapting ancient wine making techniques known from France and Italy, but using fresh ingrediens that really thrive in our local environment.
